Updates
TL;DR
Everything that changes at Clipsie, in one dated list. Changes to our sub-processors are announced here at least 14 days before they take effect, as our DPA describes. We do not send emails for these. The same list is in your dashboard under Support → Updates.

Humanized runs now cost what the AI really uses
- A Humanized AI Clipper run is now charged by what the AI really uses for it: the search plus each clip it delivers. Typical runs cost a lot less than the old fixed prices: about half on the Humanized AI Clipper level.
- Before every run you see its typical price and its maximum. The maximum is held while the run works, and you are never charged more than that.

AI title suggestions, one clipper per channel, and a volume switch
- In Review, an "AI suggestions" button in the title field offers up to 8 titles for each new clip. Pick one and it is burned into the video when you approve it.
- The clipper you pick for a channel now makes its clips: choose a Humanized level and it takes over that channel's clips. You can switch Normal clips back on and set how many of each you want.
- New "Boost clip volume" switch per channel. On (the default), autopilot clips are brought to the usual TikTok and Shorts loudness; off, they keep your stream's own volume.
- Clips from past streams are now at most 60 seconds long. Shorter clips keep more viewers to the end.
- You can react to messages in Support with an emoji.

New: the Humanized AI Clipper
- The Humanized AI Clipper finds and edits clips almost like a human. It watches the whole stream or VOD, finds the story around a moment (the setup, the reasoning, the guess, the reveal and the reaction) and cuts it the way a human editor would, fully automatically after every stream.
- Three levels: Humanized AI Clipper, our best AI at every step; Humanized Edit, where our best AI edits and a faster AI finds the moments; and Humanized Lite, fast AIs at every step for the lowest price. Runs are paid with credits, and the price is shown before every run. A failed clip costs nothing, and a run that finds no clip is refunded completely.
- Humanized plans are a Clipsie plan plus credits every month: Humanized Starter 29 EUR (1,800 credits), Humanized Creator 69 EUR (4,800), Humanized Studio 149 EUR (11,200) a month, or yearly with the Clipsie plan part 10% off. Credit packs start at 10 EUR, with no subscription. Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
- Clipsie autopilot plans can now keep clipping past their monthly limit from credits, if you switch it on: 15 credits per extra clip, 10 per extra VOD hour.
- Your first Humanized AI Clipper run is on us in your first paid month.
- Humanized AI Clipper clips can be edited in Review like any other clip, and a clip from a past stream can be redone with the Humanized AI Clipper straight from Review.

Plans now count clips a month, and every plan gets everything
- Each plan is now a number of clips a month, live clips and clips from your past streams together: 60 on Starter, 150 on Creator, 250 on Studio, per channel. It replaces the clips-per-day ceiling, the daily VOD clip budget and the import count.
- Past streams have an hour budget instead of a number of runs: 60 hours a month on Starter, 100 on Creator, 150 on Studio, including the automatic top-up after a quiet stream.
- Starter now has the AI editor cut, your own posting schedule, title steering and the nameplate too.
- The Tools tab and the billing card show how much of the month is left.

Google (Gemini) added as a sub-processor
- Google's Gemini model, reached through OpenRouter, listens to clip and stream audio: it tells who says what in a clip so the title gets the people right, and finds the stretches of a VOD worth clipping. It receives the audio, transcript excerpts, the channel name and names of people who often appear on it, and, where switched on, a few video frames. It never receives the streamer reference photo.
- Google has been doing this since 26 October 2026, before it was listed. It should have been announced here first, and we are sorry it was not. The sub-processor page and the privacy policy now name it.
- If you object on reasonable data-protection grounds, write to [email protected] within 14 days. We will try to offer an alternative; if we cannot, you may end the affected part of the service and get a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees (DPA section 06).

Clipsie in your language, and subtitles you can fix
- The dashboard and every email we send are now available in English, French, German and Italian. Pick yours with the language switch; Stripe Checkout follows it too.
- In Review you can edit the subtitle lines of a clip. Your changes are burned into the video when you approve it.
- Edits in Review (title, subtitles, crop) now also re-render clips made from VODs, not only live clips.
- Adjust crop in Review: move the facecam and game boxes for one clip, and preview the new video before you approve it.

Updated Terms, and face recognition is asked for where you use it
- New Terms of Service (version of 30 October 2026). You accept them once, by ticking the box the next time you open the dashboard. Using Clipsie without ticking it no longer counts as acceptance.
- The Terms now say plainly that clips and titles are AI output with no guaranteed results, that you need the streamer's permission to clip a channel that is not yours, how a takedown notice and a counter-notice work, and where the liability limits do not apply by law.
- Face recognition is no longer a box at signup. Clipsie asks for your consent when you add a streamer photo (in the tour or in Clip targets), and you can turn it off again in Account.
- Signup has a new optional box that lets Clipsie show clips from your channel as examples. It is unticked by default and can be switched off in Account.

Yearly plans, and titles that lead with a hook
- Every plan can now be billed yearly at 10% off. Switch between monthly and yearly on the pricing page or in Account.
- Studio includes up to 300 VOD clips a month. The Tools tab shows how many are left.
- When you start a trial, your bank may show a hold for the first charge. It is released right away; nothing is charged until the trial ends.
- Titles now lead with a hook: Clipsie listens to each clip and writes the title around what actually happens in it.
- The VOD clipper and longform cards in Tools show live progress while a job runs, and links that are not videos are refused with a clear message.

Support inside the dashboard, and story cuts
- Support now lives in the dashboard: write to us under More > Support and the conversation stays there. This update log moved there too (Support > Updates).
- AI editor cuts on Creator and Studio now tell a story: they take a longer stretch of the stream and cut it into the setup, the build-up, the moment and the reaction.
- Your account has a customer number (CLP-XXXXXX). You find it in Account and on every billing email.

Privacy policy and DPA: who is responsible, how long we keep things, no Google on page load
- Who is responsible is now spelled out. For the stream content you send through Clipsie you are the controller and we are your processor. We are the controller for your account, billing and support, for the aggregated results across customers we use to improve how Clipsie picks, edits and titles moments, and for the channels Clipsie runs itself (privacy policy introduction, DPA sections 01 and 02).
- If someone clips your stream without your permission, you can ask us to stop and to remove the clips we hold.
- Retention now matches what our systems delete: unanswered review clips lose their video after 30 days, support conversations are kept 2 years after the last message, the email log 90 days, and the hashed one-trial-per-payer record 3 years.
- Fonts are served from clipsie.app and YouTube previews come through our own server, so opening a page sends nothing to Google. The YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you click play.

Sub-processor list corrected, and changes are now announced here
- Cloudflare also provides backup speech-to-text transcription (Workers AI) when our main transcription provider is unavailable. It receives clip and stream audio for that.
- Anthropic (Claude) is also used to edit clips (cut points and framing) and as a backup for moment scoring, titles and video-frame checks. Besides transcript excerpts it can receive short public chat excerpts, clip keyframes and video frames, and, for accounts with face matching turned on, the streamer reference photo.
- The sources we process are now named in full: Twitch streams, and recordings you link from Twitch, YouTube, Kick or Vimeo.
- From 22 November 2026, new sub-processors are announced in this update log at least 14 days before they start, instead of by email. A provider we need at once to keep the service secure or running may start immediately and is posted here as soon as possible. You can still object, and the pro-rata refund in DPA section 06 still applies. Changes to the DPA itself are announced here and in the dashboard 30 days ahead. Until 22 November 2026 the previous wording of the DPA applies.

OpenRouter and OpenAI added as sub-processors
- Used for live chat-moment pre-filtering, clip scoring and title generation. Listed on the sub-processor page on 2 September 2026 and recorded here when this page started.
Questions about a change: contact us. Objections to a new sub-processor go to the privacy address in the DPA.
