TL;DR

Clipsie is run by one person in Switzerland, not a company. Everything below is the information Swiss, German and Austrian law require a commercial website to state openly: who is behind it, and how to reach them.

This notice is published under Art. 3(1)(s) of the Swiss Unfair Competition Act (UWG), § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (DDG) and § 5 of the Austrian E-Commerce Act (ECG). It applies to clipsie.app and to the Clipsie service.

Clipsie is a trading name, not a separate legal entity. Contracts for the service are concluded with Yari Eugster personally.

Those are the two channels for reaching us quickly and directly. Support questions go to [email protected], data-protection requests to [email protected], and copyright notices to [email protected]. We aim to answer within two working days.

We do not publish a telephone number. Clipsie is run by one person, and email and the contact form are answered faster than a phone would be.

Commercial register & VAT

Clipsie is a sole proprietorship whose annual revenue is below the CHF 100,000 threshold at which entry in the Swiss commercial register becomes mandatory (Art. 931 CO). It is therefore not entered in the commercial register and has no UID/CHE number.

Clipsie is not registered for VAT and does not charge VAT. Under Art. 10 of the Swiss VAT Act, registration becomes mandatory once worldwide turnover reaches CHF 100,000 per year. This notice will be updated when that happens.

Responsible for content

Responsible for the content of this website within the meaning of § 18(2) of the German Interstate Media Treaty (MStV): Yari Eugster, Grubenstrasse 15, 8322 Madetswil, Switzerland.

What this site offers

Clipsie is a paid software service that detects clip-worthy moments in livestreams you connect, renders them into short-form videos, and publishes them to the accounts you authorise. The site describes the service, takes access requests, and hosts the customer dashboard. What the service does and does not do with your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Liability for content and links

We take care that the information on this site is accurate and current, but we give no guarantee that it is complete or error-free, and this notice does not create liability for decisions taken on the basis of it.

This site links to third-party websites we do not control, including the platforms Clipsie integrates with and the YouTube channels shown as examples. Those pages are the sole responsibility of their operators. We checked them for unlawful content when the links were added and found none; we do not monitor them continuously. Tell us at [email protected] if a link here points somewhere it shouldn't and we will remove it.

Clips shown on this site are published by the channels named on them and remain the responsibility of those channels.

The Clipsie name, logo, site design, copy and software are protected by copyright. Don't reproduce, adapt or redistribute them without written permission. Third-party trademarks (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and others) belong to their respective owners and are used here descriptively, to say what Clipsie connects to — not to imply sponsorship or endorsement.

If you believe content published through Clipsie infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected]. The procedure is described in section 06 of our Terms of Service.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If something goes wrong, write to us first — we would much rather fix it directly.

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer available; it ceased operation on 20 July 2025, so there is no ODR link to give you.
