It learns your baseline first
Clipsie reads your chat live and works out what normal looks like for your channel. A 200-viewer chat and a 20,000-viewer chat are both judged against themselves, so nobody has to hit someone else’s number to get clipped.

Two stages, not one
A spike is scored on the reaction and again on what was actually said in that moment. A loud second with nothing behind it does not survive the second stage.

A chat word, when you already know
You pick the word yourself in the channel settings, and many pick !clip. Typing it in chat asks for the moment that just happened. On paid plans it runs alongside automatic detection; whether mods only or every viewer may use it is a channel setting on every plan.

A quiet stream makes fewer clips
If a stream simply does not contain enough clippable moments, Clipsie posts fewer rather than forcing weak ones. Your dashboard shows what each stream produced.
